How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire is very cute, but I think I would have liked it more if I haven't read it directly after reading another book with a nearly identical set up. Clearly, this one is not unique in the slightest, but I did really enjoy it for what it was. Our millionaire vampire is Roman, the owner of a scientific corporation that produces synthetic blood. The blood is mostly for consumption by vampires as they move away from feeding directly from humans, but the blood can also be used to save human lives. In addition to this, they produce Fusion Cuisine, which is basically the blood mixed with various beverages and flavors. One night while testing a new product (I won't spoil that, it's hilarious), Owen loses one of his fangs and must get it repaired immediately. Who knew a simple trip to the dentist would cause so much havoc and lead him to his true love?

For a Paranormal Romance, How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire has a lot of plot going on. Roman's dentist, Shanna, is in the Witness Protection Program, and the night he comes in the men she's hiding from find her. Roman saves her, completely freaking her out in the process (again, hilarious so I won't spoil it), but manages to get her back to his home and under his protection. It turns out that a vampire has hired the hitmen who are after Shana, one that is also an enemy to Roman. There's several interesting twists along the way, but overall, the conclusion was predictable.

The romance was a bit awkward, but in an adorable way. It's clear that Roman doesn't have much experience with human woman, so he's kind of a bumbling mess when he's trying to protect and woo Shanna. Likewise, Shanna has no experience with vampire men, so she's suspicious and at times freaked out about things that happen. Such as Roman not being able to make it back to his room before sunrise and Shanna finds him "dead." I loved that there were odd moments like this sprinkled out in the beginning, instead of them just immediately falling into lust and love. They had to work through some stuff before they got there. And have vampire sex, which is amazing! The ultimate safe sex!

How to Marry a Millionaire Vampire is a fun romance full of vampires, Russian mafia, and kilts. I did really enjoy it while I was reading, but it was too easy to put down, since I felt like I had read this before.

This book doesn't seem to like women at all - I swear even the ones that show up for just a page and have two whole lines complain about chocolate making them fat, like that's the only thing women can all agree on. Characters are unbelievable (I mean as people - not in terms of the fantasy setting) and unlikable, and the vampire lore doesn't even make sense within itself - they can levitate but not fly? And they can teleport but only if they're on the phone, except sometimes they don't have to be on the phone? They can communicate psychically except it's not very private except sometimes it is? You can read it fast, so it has that going for it I guess. I feel like a learned a lot about what this author thinks other women can relate to - and I guess I just can't.
This book was very good & had some sex scenes; but it also had some humorous scenes too. Not enough to make me laugh but enough to make me smile.

Roman is the founder of Romantech & the company makes synthetic blood for not only humans but vampires too. He also makes different flavors of the synthetic blood to cater to the vampires especially those who miss eating or drinking chocolate. One night as his fellow vampires who also work for Romantech had him try one of their experiments he loses a gang.

Shanna is in the Witness Protection Program after witnessing a murder spree in a store; but she still had the same profession & it's that of a Dentist. The night she was working at an all night dentistry she meets Roman when he comes in to get his gang put back in. That is also the night that her cover was blown.

They both were immediately attracted to each other but we're fighting it especially as they were trying to hide her from the hit men.

This book to me had lots of action, men in kilts, vampires, had a good vs bad plot & a HEA. I will also be reading the next book in this series as this is another series particularly this book in fact that has been on my mind lately. I had previously read some of the books in this series but not all; so, I also need a refresher in this series. I had also not previously written a review on this book &/or series which I now plan to do.
My daughter turned me onto this series. She was telling me about book 15. We laughed so much I decided to start the series.
I can’t think of anything that needs changing in the story. Of course the story is fictional, but if vampires were real and had the same personalities that they had while living, everything in the story is reasonable) I don’t like to tell the story in a review. That takes away the pleasure of reading the book. I will tell you that it contains every emotion. It is a comedy that has you laughing. It is suspenseful and has you biting your nails. It is a love story that takes you through all the emotions of a love that Shanna did not think would have a chance. It took you through Roman’s heart break with his fear of losing her. His fear that she might hate him enough to kill him. It included friendships between a couple of mortals and vampires that were touching. I loved this story.
