The excellent romance formula modification earns even more stars and recommendation. Can you imagine a descriptive love story with no profanity, no steamy sex, no pestilence and no fire or storm? Jenna Roads has got it all wrapped up! So, I recommend the book TWICE!

The humor comes from the product placement (despite disclaimers) that is pretty heavy handed. That and the vocabulary being dated will forever fence this book into a time warp that may be difficult for future readers to comprehend. One more edit would have been nice as there are linked editor notes left in the content. (hint hint)

All in all, this is a low voltage, pleasant read that I am glad I read on my Kindle Fire and I recommend it to you! As others have reviewed, the characters are all likeable -- except for the ex-husband and the rotten and unfaithful Florida friends. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. This author has a future.

This is such a sweet breakout novel! Careful, you might get a toothache with the sweetness and love Isabella and Logan form while Logan helps show her around her new home of NM! On one stop Isabella touches stones that were meant to stay sacred and be left untouched. Next thing Isabella knows she's experiencing encounters she never believed possible and brings her and Logan even closer as they try to solve the mystery of why this is all happening! Spirit warrior Chevio joins them in the story, can this warrior help? Is the ghostly encounters trying to harm Isabella? Guess you need to read and find out!
I will start by saying that I tend to be a persnickety reader. But, this book was no disappointment. The moment I sat down to read it I was hooked until the last page.
Isabella Reed, a newly divorced twenty-one year old goes to New Mexico to escape from the shame of the past. While there she meets Logan Hayes, the caretaker of her Aunt Carol's home, where she is staying. Ancient petroglyphs pull her into a new, exciting world. Logan becomes her protector and more than that...

Isabella is so cute, innocent and sweet. In each scene her attitude is so fresh that you can almost feel her fear and her joy. Reading the interactions between Isabella and Logan felt really snoopy at times because their relationship was so portrayed in so precious a way.

All in all, Jenna Roads has done a very good job making this a fun, involved, smooth, fast read. If you are looking for some romance, intrigue and suspense all at once, this is a must-read. This is a beautiful story of love made in heaven. Good work, Jenna!

I found the book fascinating and the characters enjoyable to read.
Isabella Reed leaves behind her past and travels to New Mexico. Ready to escape her past, she soon meets Logan Hayes, caretaker of her aunts home. Together they explore ancient petroglyphs, opening up a bit of paranormal things and a ghost in her aunts home is unleashed. Theres mystery and intrigue. This story was very descriptive, everything they did, or saw, its like your there with them. At times, it got a bit too descriptive but over all, i really enjoyed this story! If you like a fast read with new romance, mystery and a ghost, be sure to pick this up! )
I loved this book and the story author Jenna Roads shared with us. Her descriptions of New Mexico were so vivid and mesmerizing. I felt as if I could see the vibrant sunset and colorful hot air balloons dancing across the sky through Isabella and Logan's eyes. I can picture the vendors along the sidewalks selling their handcrafted jewelry made of turquoise and other stones. I could practically taste the many foods described in such yummy detail. I want to go to New Mexico now and feel the warmth of the sun and experience the brilliance that Isabella describes as she visits each new part of paradise.

"The mountains were breathtakingly beautiful. It was so serene and tranquil. The rising sun with other balloons around it painted the sky with a silhouette that was major eye candy."
